Really?
It is a funny concept to even consider that I am really an “adult” and that I actually need to make adult decisions and actually do adult-y things.
The past couple of weekends I have been going to the bank and discussing…well banking type things…and our future.
Talking about investments, RRSP’s, TFSA’s, mutual funds, a future mortgage….and I was sitting here today thinking to myself “when did I become an adult?” I mean honestly when?
But now I am 31 (turning 32) and as much as I am in denial about this, in my thirties. It’s just wild to think that 10 years ago I was in such a different place in my life and now I am talking about retirement plans, mutual funds, etc.
10 years ago I was dancing my face away, studying, going to school and probably (who are we kidding – definitely) making some bad decisions.
Coming out of the bank today though (besides feeling too adult-y) I felt really good about things though. I just find it funny that I have a “financial lady”.
I am officially a (responsible) adult.
